It may still be in the mid-90s here in Florida but I finished my first Fall project! I made this adorable felt Pumpkin Wreath!

My husband always laughs at me and my love for felt but I can't help it. It's so versatile, colorful and cheap. Here's what you need to make your own: a thin piece of styrofoam, a marker, a utility knife, pins and felt. Start by marking off your pumpkin pattern on the styrofoam. Then use your utility knife to cut around your design. Leave it in the plastic wrap to avoid any extra mess!
Excuse the darkness in the following photos. I was doing this at night and the flash was too bright. Cut out a bunch of circles around 2 inches wide, fold in half, then fold in half again, take a pin and pin it to your styrofoam. Oh.so.easy.
Here it is in progress. I actually ran out of felt. Does that happen to you too mid-project? So, I cut apart one of my garlands and used the orange circles from that.
All finished! Grab some ribbon, attach and hang up.
I'm super happy with how it turned out. It's fun, colorful and ready to welcome in Fall!
Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

that is too cute!
How cute! It's so bright and cheery!
Really cute! I've been making wreaths this way but wouldn't have thought to make a pumpkin. Great idea!
how cute, will have to try this
This is really cute and easy to do! It's funny how you say it's still hot there in Florida cause that's exactly how it is here in Arizona! Doesn't stop me either from hopping on the fall band wagon! :)

Beautiful job! My weekly linky party--One Creative Weekend--has gone spooky this week in honor of my thirteenth party. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll visit "One Creative Weekend" on OneCreativeMommy.com (open every Fri-Wed) and link up this idea and anything else you’d like to share. (You can include non-Halloween posts as well, but feel free to link up as many Halloween-themed posts as you like.) (You're also welcome to link this to my felt party--always open.)
I absolutely adore this pumpkin! It is so fun and could even be kid friendly as long as they're careful with the pins! So cute! Thank you so very much for linking up at Artsy Corner for our first linky party! I hope you'll link up again!
SO cute!! I love it!

Did you use any particular stencil to make the circle or did you do them free hand?
