Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats

First off, these are addicting.  Highly addicting.  Consider yourself warned.

I was in charge of bringing St. Patty's day treats to Hosea's little playschool class.  There are tons of cute ideas out there but I like the simple ones.  I first saw these on Bloom.  She had me at lucky charms and marshmallows.  Mmmmm.

I loosely followed her instructions.  Instead of her measurements, I used 6 tablespoons of margarine, roughly 6 cups of marshmallows (about a bag and a half - I added a little more if I felt it looked too margariney - just made up that word), and about 6 cups of lucky charms (plus a little more if I felt there was too much marshmallow mixture - as if that's possible).  Melt your margarine on medium heat, add the marshmallows and stir until smooth and melted.  Lastly, add your Lucky Charms.

I placed a piece of Pam-coated parchment paper inside my pan (although this isn't super necessary), put the lucky charm mixture into the pan and used another Pam-coated piece of parchment to press the mixture down into the pan to even it out.  Make sense?

And what you get after they've cooled is some highly addictive crack, I mean lucky charm treats.

So easy and you have plenty of time to make them for St. Patty's Day!

Enjoy and don't say I didn't warn you!
