Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Inspired Alphabet Tree

To go along with our Read With Me series, we've been doing a few crafts here and there.  This week, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom was one of our top books.  So, we made this Alphabet Tree to go along with the book.

Supplies Needed:

Pipe Cleaners
Alphabet Letters (ours were provided free from Craftprojectideas.com)
I also used some tape to get the tree to stick and a piece of cardstock

I took one pipe cleaner and made the tree trunk and the base.  I then put some double sided tape down so the tree would stand up.  I cut up some other pipe cleaners and made the branches just by twisting them onto the trunk.

And then I let my son find the letters.  We just dumped all the letters out on the table and he looked through to find the alphabet.

And then letter by letter, he put them on the branches.

A-Z.  Then we were done!  It's super cute and a great little craft for this cute book.

I'll be back later to do with the list of books we read this week!  See you soon!

Cute idea! We love the Cicka books... might just have to make our own tree!
